Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

RackNight ("RackNight", "we", "us") provides software for organizing and playing in pool leagues and tournaments. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to form a binding contract.

3. Leagues, operators, and results

League operators are responsible for how they run their leagues — schedules, divisions, handicaps, rules, and results. RackNight provides the tools; it does not referee disputes between players or between players and operators. Competitive results and standings are managed by operators and the players involved through the app's confirmation and audit features.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use RackNight for anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten, or defraud others.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is abusive, hateful, or obscene.
• Do not attempt to breach security, access data that isn't yours, scrape the service, or disrupt its operation.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with a league or person.

5. Fees and payments

League membership fees, match fees, tournament buy-ins, and prizes described inside a league are arrangements between that league and its members. Where RackNight offers paid subscriptions or processes payments in the future, additional terms will apply and be presented at the point of purchase.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (profile details, photos, messages, league information). You grant RackNight a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the service. You can request deletion of your content as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. Pool is a physical activity; you participate in matches and events at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RackNight will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may stop using RackNight at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that create risk for other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
